Who is TownSquare Capital?

TownSquare Capital, LLC is our Chief Investment Officer. With this partnership, we have access to all of their investment models, Bond desk and traders, as well as their institutional style trade desk.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO GET EVERYTHING MOVED AND FULLY SET UP WITH FIAT’S RECOMMENDATIONS?

Accounts: See chart above: this will provide a timeline for Schwab accounts and transfers.

Employer-sponsored plans (401k, 403B, 457, etc): Our Onboarding Team will email you to schedule a call with your plan. Depending on the plan, getting the assets over to Charles Schwab can take anywhere from 10 business days to 30 business days, depending on the plan rules. **Generally, plans will send you a check, and once you receive it, you can mail it to us at 1905 Wayzata Blvd #320 Wayzata, MN 55391, where we will send the check to Charles Schwab via a tracked envelope.**
PLEASE NOTE: Occasionally, when we transfer funds, it will show a $0 balance in your old account and $0 in your new Schwab accounts. This is due to the funds being debited from your old account and on their way to the new Schwab accounts. This problem resolves itself after 3-4 business days once Schwab receives your funds.

Insurance: This will vary depending on the type of insurance. Anywhere from a few weeks to a few months should be expected. We can check in with the insurance company frequently, but once we submit an application, it is in the hands of the insurance company and their processing time. - We will provide updates as much as possible and ensure all documents and requirements are in good order.

HOW DO I FIND MY SCHWAB ACCOUNT #?

Find your account number using Charles Schwab's website:

1) Log in to your Charles Schwab account

2) In the “Accounts” section on your dashboard, click on the account name

3) Your 8-digit account number will be visible in the blue box at the top of your screen

HOW AM I ABLE TO SEE MY ACCOUNTS AND TRACK MY INVESTMENTS?

Once your accounts are established our onboarding team will send over logins to our client portal. The Fiat website (hosted by Orion) will synchronize with your Charles Schwab accounts a few days after creation.

HOW DO I VIEW MY SCHWAB ACCOUNT?

To get started, navigate to the Schwab Alliance website: and click on the "New User" hyperlink, which is just below the place to put in your login credentials. You will need to enter one of your account numbers, date of birth, phone number, and social security number.

While we encourage you to set up your Schwab Alliance login, we still recommend Orion as the best and most straightforward way to view all accounts in the household at once.

HOW CAN I PROVIDE ACCOUNT ACCESS TO A FAMILY MEMBER OR SPOUSE?

While a few more steps are involved than we had hoped, there is a way to do so:

When you're logged in to your Schwab Alliance account, click on "Profile" in the upper-right corner of the page > click on "Account Access" from the drop-down menu > click the green "Give Account Access" button > select which access level you'd like to provide > select the account you want to provide access to > click "Continue" > enter their information (name, phone number, and email address associated with their Schwab Alliance account). They will then receive an email with instructions to log in to their Schwab Alliance account and will be able to see the account you shared with them alongside their own accounts. You must go through this process for each account you wish to share access to.

While we encourage you to set up your Schwab Alliance login, we still recommend Orion as the best and most straightforward way to view all accounts in the household at once.
